INDIVIDUAL GOLF LESSONS
Our Individual Golf Lessons are designed for those who are looking to improve to their golf game, but do so on their own schedules, when time allows.
They are also ideal for those who want to see their swing recorded in high-speed, their putting stroke in 3D, or simply want to see if an old dog really can learn new tricks. And are the perfect gift for all the golfers in your life.
Along with work on swing mechanics, short game work, and 3D putting analysis, students will have access to fitness consultants, sport psychologists and nutrition information if desired.

PGA of Canada Teaching Professional
Lead Instructor, Grand Slam Golf Academy
John Deneer is the PGA of Canada Class A, Teaching Professional and Junior Development Coordinator at Bearspaw Country Club in Calgary, AB along with being a member of the teaching team here at Grand Slam Golf Academy. He received his Professional Golf Management specialization from Lethbridge College under the guidance of acclaimed teaching professional and national coach, Dean Spriddle, before accepting his position at Bearspaw in the summer of 2003. After spending 5 seasons at Bearspaw, John desired to learn more about the industry and accepted positions at the Lynx Ridge Golf Club in Calgary, AB and Riverside Golf & Country Club in Saskatoon, Sk for the next 2 seasons. Following his time at the 2 clubs, he returned to Bearspaw and has been in his current position for the past 5 seasons. Along with his teaching and junior development responsibilities at Bearspaw, John is also the head coach of the Alberta Golf, Boys Development Team which allows him to mentor and instruct the top junior golfers in the province. During his time away from golf, John enjoys spending time in the mountains kayaking, hiking and skiing along with playing basketball in the Calgary Men’s leagues.
PGA of Canada Teaching Professional
After having a sucessful amateur golf career that saw Eric become a two-time Provincial and Atlantic champion, he decided to further his golf career by attending Holland College where he took the Professional Golf Management Program. Once turning Professional Eric moved from Nova Scotia to Alberta to seek new opportunities in the golf industry. Eric uses his PGM diploma and golf swing knowledge to help all of his students improve and enjoy the game. He enjoys travelling with Kelsey, hiking with his two dogs and of course, teaching golf.
Scott was born and raised in Calgary, and spent the past 12 years competing at the highest levels. He is a 2-time Alberta Amateur champion and played Division 1 college golf at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Scott spent 4 seasons competing on the Canadian Tour (PGA Tour Canada / Mackenzie Tour), as well as playing against PGA Tour stars Jordan Spieth, Rickie Fowler and Graham DeLaet along the way.
Scott is our local short game and putting specialist at Grand Slam Golf Academy. Making use of the SAM PuttLab, RoboGolfPro, and the 3,000 sq. feet of putting and chipping, Scott will improve all aspects of your putting and chipping. He believes there is no secret to becoming a good putter. It just takes sound fundamentals, a positive attitude, and a confident mindset.
